Soon it will Finally Feel like Spring

The past few months have been historically some of the harshest, coldest, winters Boston has ever had. Most of us found ourselves stuck at home for a record amount of snow days wishing it would all just go away. And finally the time has come. It doesn’t quite feel like it yet, but today is officially the beginning of Spring. Here are some ideas to get you inspired and into a Spring mood of outdoor activities to do during the day in Boston with your family. 1. Have a picnic in Boston Public Gardens: The public gardens have some of the most beautiful landscaping in the city. It is the country’s first garden of its type, and it offers swan boat rides along the lake. The swan boats have been around since the 1870s and they’re still operated by the same family. Each speaker is on a different date from March 24th to April 28th, always at 2:00 PM. Visit their site for more information. 3. Visit the Franklin Park Zoo: Take your whole family and enjoy a day at the zoo. If you have little ones, children under two get in for free. You can purchase tickets online or at the door.
