Strategic Plan
At Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (IBA), we’re always listening for the ever-evolving needs of our community. Therefore, we have developed a five-year plan to focus on the opportunities that will make our mission successful. We empower individuals and families to grow and achieve socio-economic mobility through high-quality, affordable housing, education, financial coaching and cultural events.
Strategic Plan 2023-2027
Over the next five years, IBA will support the efforts of all of its constituents to achieve greater financial security, resilience, and performance to advance their personal and household goals. IBA will embrace and embed its commitment to racial equity, diversity, and inclusion throughout all of its programs and organizational structures.
IBA’s strategies will seek, among other things:
- Seek to disrupt the cycle of poverty and support the efforts of all of its constituents to achieve greater financial security and resilience and to advance their personal and household goals.
- Engage departments and staff across the organization in working towards common goals of resident empowerment, expand awareness of IBA’s programs and connect households with services and programs from which they might benefit.
- Embrace creativity and innovation while grounding programs in research and evidence-based practices.
- Use its assets - its real estate, its financial resources, and its human and social capital - to further its mission and to ensure the organization’s sustainability.
- Embrace of racial equity as a core value and organizing principal for all of IBA’s programming.
