It was very important to be in a bilingual school

IBA’s preschool is a vibrant all day bi-lingual Spanish English learning community committed to nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and celebrating the individuality in every child. The preschool is an inclusive, warm environment for children to learn, grow and thrive while mastering both languages and readiness skills for kindergarten. IBA’s pre-school serves children ages 2.9 to 5.5 years old.

Magdalena Fernandez, the mother of one of our students, shared with us what IBA’s Preschool and its bilingual programming have been for both her and her daughter, Sofía.

How long have you been involved with IBA’s preschool program?

My child has been attending IBA’s Preschool since March 2019.

In your experience, what are the benefits of a multicultural preschool?

It was very important to me and my child to be in a bilingual school. We are Hispanic, and although my daughter and I were born in Massachusetts, it is very important to me that we learn and practice our culture and Spanish language fluently.

What is your favorite part about IBA’s Preschool Program?

The enrollment process was smooth and simple. I love the diversity and culture of this preschool and I think the entire staff is wonderful. Everyone is kind and has had a positive impact on my daughter.

Would you recommend the program to other parents?

I would highly recommend IBA’s Preschool Program for its diversity, dual-language curriculum, and welcoming staff.
